Communication Workshop
Communication Workshop
Effective communication is the foundation of successful team collaboration. This workshop covers communication frameworks, email etiquette, and group dynamics.
Framework for Effective Communication
When a problem arises in your team, use the F-FEEA-C framework to address it constructively:
| Step | Focus | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Facts | State what happened objectively | "I noticed that you've been asking me many technical questions..." |
| 2. Feelings | This is subjective but valid | "I feel like I'm not able to complete my own work while helping..." |
| 3. Expectations | What are your unmet needs? | "I need you to try solving problems independently first..." |
| 4. Actions | What concrete actions will help? | "Could you try researching for 15 minutes before asking?" |
| 5. Collaboration | Focus on solutions together | "What would help you most? What do you suggest?" |
