I2G Presentation Guidelines

Audience & Content

Your audience at I2G is technical and/or business oriented: faculty, TAs, industry partners, judges. Choose your content and delivery accordingly.

Your presentation and demo video will be streamed to a wide audience (and potentially made available for download). TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY.

Partner Approval Required

Your slides and demo video MUST BE APPROVED BY YOUR INDUSTRY PARTNER for public release.

  1. Ask your mentor ASAP what content is allowed for public release
  2. Write the abstract and submit for approval
  3. Plan the script for the presentation and demo video
  4. Submit to mentor for approval
  5. Develop your materials
  6. Submit to mentor for approval
  7. Revise until approved (if needed)

Required Slide Content

Your first and last slides MUST include:

  • Project title โ€” must match the title in the project summaries
  • Team name + number โ€” e.g., YourTeamName (CSE-342)
  • Industry partner info โ€” company name and mentor name, both clearly labelled
  • Team members โ€” all names, roles, and (optional) contact info and LinkedIn

โŒ What NOT to Do

  • DO NOT end on a "Thank You" slide โ€” instead end with the partner/team information slide
  • DO NOT include confidential information without partner approval
  • DO NOT submit as a zip archive โ€” upload files individually on CatCourses

Demo Video Specs

Length 5โ€“6 minutes (maximum)
Format MP4, compatible with both macOS and Windows
Resolution 720p (minimum) to 1080p (maximum)
Content Technical (no confidential info)
In slides Embedded in your PPTX slides
Deadline Initial: Thu Week 16 ยท Final: Wed Week 17
