Lab Format
Lab Format
When & Where
Lab sections run Thursday or Friday depending on your section — see the Course Structure for specific times and locations.
Purpose
Lab sessions are dedicated team working time — they are not additional lectures. Labs are the primary space for your team to:
- Plan project activities and assign tasks
- Get hands-on help from your TA
- Report progress and resolve blockers
- Finalize deliverables
Attendance
Lab attendance is mandatory and contributes to your participation grade. You are allowed up to 2 unexcused absences. Report absences using this form before the session.
Exceeding the limit will result in an F in the course.
What to Do in Lab
- Check in with your TA on arrival
- Review your team's progress since last session
- Plan work for the current lab/iteration
- Work on deliverables with your team
- Report out at the end — what was accomplished, what's blocked
